The new ATEX rule

This rule plans to :

A notified organization approval for the product but also for the manufacturer's Assurance Quality system of production.
 

"CE" mark affixing on labels from different products. This marking means that the product answer to the " New approach" rules, Machine rules, Low tension rules etc...

Marking example :

Distinction between explosible atmosphere due to gas, steam or fog presence (code : G = Gas) and explosible atmosphere due to air and dust mix presence (code : D = Dust). Certification sequences for these 2 dangerous atmospheres types will be different, and a "G" or "D" marking will be placed on certified product's label.
 

Introduction of creation and manufacturing rules which take aim to improve systems security, in order to make them work safely during a foreseeable lifetime: components choice, opening with a special tool, prevention against overloaded systems , protection against electrostatic loads, interferences electrics currents and leakage, unacceptable heat, etc ...
 

Take into account of systems functionning conditions : moisture, vibrations , pollution , parasites tensions...

Application of the fail-safe security principe to security appliances, they must act on verification component concerned, whitout being relayed by software.
